![]() ![]() For 135 gem power and 3 copies, I can get +48 CR. Now, on the other hand, I could instead invest 105 gem power and 2 copies into a rank 1 gem (which are exponentially more attainable) and get +42 CR. Im not a whale, so getting 125 or even 50 gem power is not happening any time soon and I really dont expect to get a copy of it for a long ass time. ![]() More so, to get it to rank 3, I would need 125 gem power and a second copy of that same gem. However, it would cost me 50 gem power to get to rank 2. I say this as someone who got lucky and got a 5/5 star legendary gem after about 10 legendary crests.Īnd so to be straight forward, yeah the +24 base CR is cool. But the difference in CR isnt really huge. Dont get me wrong, theyre good and if you get one with a good effect then thats definitely better then 2 or 1 star gems. I think the power of 5/5 star gems are really overstated. Big spenders in my other game spend alot bc the power/reward you get from the system is guaranteed thus if I know I spend 2 grand on packs I am getting x amount of power/rss/energy/goods back. ![]() This is also why I do believe the monetization will change a bit and soon. I like diablo immortal and will spend some money on this game, but not as much as I spend in others. You need roughly 1539 gems just to get to a 50% chance of having one drop which is still a joke (roughly $3500). After 1350 gems there is a 54.46% chance that you would never get a 5x5 star gem and 53.81% chance at 1377 gems. ![]() Summing the probability of a gem being a 5x5 star is 0.045% (4.5% to drop the 2-5 range and another 1% to make it the max). Im not sure if the BLP protection adds another gem to the drop or if just forces one of the drops to be a 5-star so either its 1350 gems or 1377. Assuming he purchased the $100 bundles that give 7200 eternal orbs at 30 packs that allows him to run 135 fully juiced rifts. They give the stats in the game so this isnt surprising. ![]()
